All items made by BAKE BOSS are subject to the following Terms & Conditions:

 

1) Ingredients/Allergens

Most of Bake Boss’s cakes contain butter, gluten, and eggs and are made in an environment that handles nuts, soya, and alcohol. Nut-free, dairy-free, and alcohol-free cakes can be made on request but I cannot guarantee that these cakes will not contain trace amounts of these ingredients. While adhering to the Environment Health guidance on cross-contamination of allergens, I do my best to keep ingredients separate but they are not made in a separate kitchen so I cannot 100% guarantee it. The customer must acknowledge the responsibility of informing guests of this allergy information, and do not hold Bake Boss responsible for any allergic reactions.

2) Storage

Cakes without fresh fillings should be stored in a cool dry place, away from direct sources of heat, light, and moisture. If stored correctly, the cakes/cupcakes will be fresh at room temperature for 2-3 days and refrigerated for up to 1 week, best-frozen approx. 2 months. Cakes/cupcakes with fondant covering should never be refrigerated. If the item has fresh filling (fruit, cream, cream cheese, etc) we will inform the customer and it should be kept refrigerated until ready to serve. This type of item is best eaten on the event date. Cheesecakes always require refrigeration and will last up to 5-7 days in the fridge for best quality. Butter tarts refrigerated best before 5-7 days and room temperature best before 2-3 days. For best results store in an airtight container.

3) Deposit

Any orders over $100 will have a non-refundable deposit of $25 which will be collected 1 week before the order. The remaining balance owed will be due BEFORE you leave with your order.

4) Cake Changes

Any changes to your cake order will be accepted until 2 days prior to the event date. After this time, changes may incur a charge if possible to be adjusted.

5) Orders

Please note pictures shown or discussed are for general illustration only and the final product may vary. The final products will be a unique creation as close to the inspiration pictures and ideas.

6) Collection

Once an order is collected, the order becomes the customer's responsibility. Bake Boss is not responsible for any damage to the order once it leaves the premises. When transporting custom cakes, it is best to have the cake on a flat surface in a car or balanced straight if someone is holding the cake. If it is hot out, if possible ride with the air conditioning on, if it is cold out, refrain from having heat hitting the cake to prevent any melting of buttercream.

7) Cancellation Policy

Custom cake orders will require a non-refundable deposit to be put down which will be decided on based on cake and order size at time of order. Deposits will be collected 1 week prior to the event date.

 

For custom cake orders, you may cancel within 72 hours of the event date but would lose the deposit on the cake. Deposits are for custom cake orders ONLY.

 

For any other orders, you will be able to cancel up to 48 hours of your event date.

8) Photographs

We reserve the right to photograph your order, before delivery/collection for our own reference and to be used throughout social media and websites.

9) Release and Liability

We will work with you to ensure you are 100% satisfied with your order. We shall not be held responsible for your order, once collected or delivered. We advise you on how to store your baked goods/cakes beforehand.

10) Modification of Services and Prices

Services and prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to change or modify the services or prices without notice at any time.

11) Privacy 

We respect the privacy of our customers. By using the website, you consent to our collection and use of personal data. All information and data collected will be used to verify your identity and payment information.
